Sept 12: So I’ve decided I need to lose some weight, yes its diet time again.
I managed to lose 30Kg last year, but I had motivation, I was dropping as much weight as I could before my bowel cancer surgery. Using the Optifast ™ protein bars, protein shakes as meal substitutes for 3 meals a day with 2 cups of non starchy vegetables, 1 tablespoon of oil and 80gm of lean meat a day.
Eating became fairly boring, taste wise, but the key to weight lose was strict adherence to my dietitian provided guide lines. this time I may stray a bit, if a special occasions pop up, and I’m going to try some more exercise this time as well.
so starting weight: 150kg
